anywho. i have a couple of photos. mostly of jenny lewis. we were in the very front row. right in the middle. but i only got a few pictures before the mean security guard came over and got me in trouble. most of these are actually natalie's.

um. i might be seeing my best friend in a few days. and i am very very happy about that. and i was about to put a photo on here of us in freshman year when we hung out with brenda and karl and connor and such. but they were all really gross. and i think that it would only cause anger and frustration and embarassment. so i decided against it.

AH!
it's been a long long time. but i thought now is as good a time as ever to post again.
i just got my wisdom teef out and i've been in a little pain, but vicodin has been good to me. i ate real food yesterday, which is so so exciting. yaay green beans!
i went to lollapalooza last weekend. it was an absolute blast. so much fun in the sun. i heard lots of great music and saw a lot of cool people. my brother is a funny dude, as are his friends. i ate vegetarian burritos and drank yummy tea. i met quite a few characters, and got offered pot by jesus. overall it was a grand time.

i also saw some other bands like wilco, broken social scene, the new pornographers, plus some i can't think of, but don't have pictures cause my camera wouldnt work at very inconvenient times.

i just found out that my mom's cousin dated tom petty and david bowie back in the day. cool cool cool.

yo yo yo! it's been forever. that's cause nothing new ever happens to me...
this was my response to an e-mail where lizzie asked me "what's your favorite type of boy?"
my favorite type of boy are the hip/indie/scene
ones that go to concerts in their checkered vans
shoes, and have myspaces with pictures of really sad
faces, you know what i mean? and they love art class,
and death cab for cutie, and they shop at urban
outfitters, because thats just where they fit in, and
they really feel accepted there. thats my favorite
type of boy.
for sure.
her response was great too, but i can't find it. something about their black-rimmed glasses that hide their dark eyes from the conformity of the world.
ooh. i do have news! i got coldplay tickets!!! woooo! february 22! :D i can't wait.

So far, this has been an extremely great weekend. I got to skip school on friday! yaay! So, i got to jill's house on thursday night, then onfriday i ended up not going to school with jill, so i hung out with her mom. I went to pick her up after, and i went inside, and it was huge and a little bit scary.
soo, around 530 we left for kalamazoo :-D we got to the place around 7ish, we were one of the first people there, ha. we had to wait a while, then they let us in and we waited in there for a little bit too. a couple sat next to us, and they were really funny, and nice, and they thought we were in college. we liked them a lot. the girl sang ben folds' name to the rocky song, it was great. anyway...the fray was lame. i was telling danielle, they were nowhere close to corn mo.
yay, then ben folds came one! he ruled. it was an awesome setlist! we sucked at army though, we couldnt get it right, so he just gave up. we took tons of picture and toooons of videos. jill will post them all later, but this was my best one...
mmm, it was so so so good. but royal oak was still a little better...
well, now jill and i are going to the beach at lake michigan to see the sunset. then we're going to dinner, and then who knows!!! okay, that's all.

i just got the mail, and I had a package in it, which is one of the most exciting things. i looove getting things in the mail, but it rarely happens...and especially a package!! it said on the front that it was from my sister :D so, i opened it, but it was really hard, cause i'm really bad at opening mail, and there's a bunch of halloween candy, and this really cute card, and ten dollars to borders!! i almost started to cry, it's so nice. i love my sister :) Okay, and the card is adorable, on the front there is a big jack-o-lantern, and on the inside it says...
"See the jack-o-lanterns smile!

ha, i love it, and i love my sister, and i can't wait to go to borders with my gift card. I also can't wait to see jill tomorrow, and i can't wait till we get to see ben folds in 8 days. :) :)

so, i haven't updated in a loong time. mmm, i don't really like to update, i just like to read everyone else's...
buuut....i was looking through my folder on our computer, and i found some interesting stuff, that i had saved on it a long time ago.
lots of ben kwellery, and rooney, and lame stuff like that.
okay... i've been really bored, and i'm listening to all my old ben kweller stuff, and i'm ashamed to say i still know all the words. i really miss being obsessed with him..and carrying a picture of him in my wallet. ha, i am such a creep.
i'm pretty proud of this pun paper that i wrote last year. but i don't know how to make a link, so here it is.
(all the puns are capitalized...they're all naturey) ;)
My best BUD Jill gave me a wonderful birthday present this year. She took me to see my favorite singer Ben Folds. She said she WOOD pay for my ticket and everything. I found out about the concert many DAISIES in advance, so I had a lot of THYME to be excited. As the concert came closer, my IMPATIENCE grew. The morning of the concert, I ROSE from bed ecstatic about the day to come. After school, Jill, Katie and I left for the show. We stood in line so long, I though my LIMBS would fall off. After a long wait, he finally came on stage. He was so great. His TULIPS sang all of my favorite songs, while he played the piano and his feet pushed the PETALS. I cheered so loud; I hoped Ben would hear me, and FORGET-ME-NOT.

well, chicago was awesome. this was my day wednesday. wake up at 8, leave at 9 and a half. we got to chicago around one. watched t.v. for awhile, then left at 3 15. we got to ravinia at 4, right when the parking lot opened. we waited at the gate until 5. then, the gate opened, and we ran to the front of the lawn, and got a spot, meanwhile, by the way, rufus wainwright was doing his soundcheck... we waited around for a few hours, then at 7 30, nick and i got spots at the the railing. ben lee sucked from about 7 45 to 8 30ish. rufus played from 9ish to 10ish. and ben folds, from 10ish to 11.
rufus wainwright was awesome. i'm obsessed with him right now. he has maybe the best voice i have ever heard. he talked about star wars, and he told us he was a princess. he played rebel prince, and uugh, it was so good, i should have taped it. i did tape vicious world, and hallelujah. yeah, sweet. ben folds didnt play very many good songs. no army, or rockin' the suburbs :(. he did play not the same, but it was not the same (ha, excuse the bad pun) as the royal oak show. bitches ain't shit was pretty funny, and he broke his piano strings. that was funny too.
ANYWAY, i can't get that dumb ben lee song out of my head. it's so catchy...
so, my main goal right now is to meet rufus wainwright. and, i think it's possible.
my best friend, and my brother have moved away. ugh, i don't know what i'm going to do without them.
i took some really bad pictures of rufus wainwright. yeah, we were super far away, and i tried zooming in. they suck, but here they are, just for kicks...

last night, katie, jenn, jill, and i finally went on our date. it was so much fun. we went to greek islands and drove around in a convertible singing really loud obnoxious music. we yelled at boys on the street and ate ice cream. we went to shain park and played there. then we went to my house and watched laguna beach with nick. it was fun.
tommorrow is ben folds! and rufus wainwright! in chicago!!! buuuut, it turns out our seats suck. at best we will be the last row of the pavillion, and that's with waiting a few hours, too. oh well, it should still be fun.

well, i just got back from traverse city yesterday. it was pretty fun. kind of boring sometimes, and there was some "drama" if you will, with my family. my brother and mom left early....who leaves a family vacation early?? members of a dysfunctional family, thats who...
anyway, it was mostly fun. i didnt get to go to the haunted restaurant though, which i was kind of upset about. i had to go to a bunch of restaurants where only one meal on the menu didnt have meat in it :( i didnt go on the jet ski, or play put-put, which is weird, because i always do that. i have some pictures, and i will probably post them later.
last night, rufus wainwright's dad was on conan, and he was good. his song talked about rufus :)
today, i had to wake up early to go to a dentist appointment. then my dad and i went to panera, and the guy there was really funny. then i walked to a garage sale, but i didnt buy anything. it was for a teacher who retired, so a lot of it was teacher stuff. then, to make up for all the meaty meals up north, my dad took me to the inn season cafe in royal oak. (i know, two meals out in one day :)) and it was sooooo good. it won all these awards as the best vegetarian restaurant in detroit, and it was. mmmmm. then i made my dad drive past the vintage store me and nick go to, and i fell in love with a dress on the mannequin. i need to find a way to buy that. anyway, that's all. :)

speaking of my grandpa, he almost died today...he had surgery, and then something happened during recovery, and his wife called all of his kids to come because they thought he was going to die. it was really scary, but he got better, and now everything is fine, which is really great.
i'm going up north on saturday, and i'm looking forward to it very much. :)
oh, i forgot to mention that the pinball machine is from my grandpa. ha, it makes it sound like elton john is my grandpa. he's not, but that would be really awesome.

im going to another ben folds concert!!!!!! aaaah, im so excited. my sister is the best, you have no idea. she doesnt even like ben folds, but she bought me tickets and she is going to sit through it, because it's my birthday present. wow. two ben folds concerts on one birthday. i am a lucky girl. PLUS, this on is with RUFUS WAINWRIGHT!!!
i have a new kitten. his name is elton john, and he's is extremely cute. :)

rilo kiley was really good. i have such a crush on jenny lewis, and i swear she smiled at me. i was telling this to connor, and i sounded like a little boy with my first crush. im not gay, but if i were, and so were jenny lewis, i think i'd try and date her. i was probably 5th-ish or so row, if there were rows. dead center. so it looked like she was always looking at me, and i really think she might have smiled, not joking. i didnt bring my camera, but natalie did. she got some really good pictures.
there was also this really good band that opened for them, called the brunettes. i alos had a crush on the girl in this band, as did everyone else in the place. she was so cute, you would have liked her too. and they wore some masks, and it was so funny. i think natalie has a picture of it, so ill try and get it. then there was another really lame band that i didnt like, neva denova, i think. poo, they were just annoying. everyone was bored during them.
also, i had a lot of fun in nashville. my brother's friends are really funny, and they were really nice, and they let me hang out with them even though im only a freshman. but when i got home, i found out snickers died. that was really sad, and i miss her a lot.

ben folds last night was absolutely amazing. probably the coolest thing i've ever seen. thank goodness, there was no tyler hilton, i dont know where that rumor came from....but there was corn mo. he was really weird....also, there were 7 or so other scsers there, including a few that graduated already.
anyway, we sang army!!!! we were the saxophone section. sweet. and not the same was THE COOLEST thing ive ever heard. waaay cooler than the one on the live cd. he was standing on the piano, and he threw the chair at the keys, and he played that bass during rockin' the suburbs, and we got to scream "God please spare me more rejection" and it was way cooler than when jill and i did it at the rollerskating place. aaahhh, it was just sooo cool. we were super close, and it was the best night.
thats all. i know everyone is sick of my ben folds talk, since ive been excited about it for more than a month. ill stop talking about it now. my art class is thankful, im sure.
i'm skipping two days of school next week to pick up my brother. i'm excited. i'll get to meet his friends and such, and it will be good to have him home.

mmm. ive been obsessed with teitur lately.
well, a lot has happened since you heard from me last. ill sum it up...
i went to see interpol in chicago. we got there an hour early, and then i watched the first band, q and not u, and i was fine, then we wated another hour for interpol to start. by that time we were all standing way too close to each other, and it was extremely hot, and i passed out during the first song. so, nick took me to the side, and i drank some three dollar water, and i sat alone by the wall for the rest of the concert. i couldnt really see the band, but it sounded great.
uh, what else has happened...i finally moved. its just as bad as i thought. ohhh well. my mom has been sleeping in my bed, cause im scared. and my cats are having trouble adjusting.
i made a purse...i also went to a maroon 5 concert the other night. it was pretty fun. i didnt think it would be...jenny took pictures.
uhhhh. i dont know what else has happened. it has been awhile.
well, lizzie came over tonight. we went to max and erma's, we danced along with the new doug fm. we took some pictures.
uh, i cant put captions on the pictures. so READ THIS!!!! the first few are of lizzie being emo. we loooove emo. one of them is my huuuuge cat, she's almost sitting up in the picture. then from the beautiful picture of a tree that lizzie took, and on a few are us on a walk. then its lizzie rocking out in my new bathroom. then its some creepy ones of lizzie.

AAH! i was just looking in my cupboard, and i saw chicken soup....AND I WANTED IT!! i really miss chicken noodle soup. it's the only thing that i really want to eat, but i chose not to. although, i saw a mcdonalds commercial for chicken selects, and i wanted them. but then i saw it again, and it made me sick. my brain is playing tricks on me!
